Specifications for supplied artwork

If supplying artwork to Total Print via email or disk (floppy, Zip or CD) we accept it in the format described below.  This is what we mean by "Disk Ready For Output".

A colour seperated print should be supplied with the disk with a specifcation sheet showing the program used and other relevant details.

For best results colour and grey scale images should be 300dpi in CMYK mode and 1 colour bitmap images should be 1200dpi.

All linked objects must be supplied with the file.  Do not cut and paste images, logos or text into files.  Type in Photoshop will output as screen dots and not appear sharp.

All artwork must contain at least 2mm bleed on all trim / edges.  Trim marks must be shown.  Spot colour jobs must not be supplied as a PDF.

Please note that microsoft programs (Powerpoint, Word, Excel and Publisher) cannot go to plates without additional manipulation and subsequent extra cost.

Cost.

There is a charge of $100 per hour to design, create, convert, retrieve and / or manipulate artwork.  All artwork costs will be estimated and will need to be approved before commencement of work.
